Call for proposals opened – Invitation to submit project proposals related to land decontamination and monitoring in view of the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant Accident

ISTC and STCU have issued a call for proposals for project proposals related to land decontamination and monitoring in view of the Fukushima NPP Accident:

  • This Call for proposals invites institutes and companies working in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan and Ukraine, to submit project proposals. It is an asset if selected institutes, companies and other similar legal entities have participated in ISTC and/or STCU projects relevant to this Call for proposals.
  • The technology areas covered by this Call are: A) Decontamination and Rehabilitation B) Long-term monitoring
  • The deadline for submitting short-form applications in English only before 30 June 2012 at the latest through e-mail only at the address:

This Call has been launched as a response to the situation arrived after the Fukushima NPP Accident. ISTC and STCU carried out a review of their project results related to severe accidents management, decommissioning and environmental remediation in the nuclear sector. During this review process, the relevant Japanese authorities, ISTC and STCU have organized symposiums, seminars and workshops for experts from Japan, Russia and other CIS countries.
